Started his music journey as Kwaito music beat maker in 2005 and has fine tuned his skills. Having released a five track Kwaito project back in 2011 called Kwaito Grooves Volume One which received massive airplay on radio stations and continues to be used as signature tunes for many radio programs. Kwaito Grooves Volume Two was released in 2022 and also did well for its purpose.

As a music producer, sound engineering becomes second nature and that makes the passion even more pleasing. With several years in the trade of radio production and show hosting, that experience is what he brings to Eminence Radio hosting the very diverse Friday Fever Show. A fusion of African sounds, and World Music making it one of the Shows to definitely tune into.

This is proving to be his passion and carving out a unique way of blending various songs to bring out an aura and feel that is not only good listening but a peace of mind to relieve a hard day’s stress through melodies. The journey is only beginning.

Elder Mafana is also a voice over artist, having done numerous radio adverts for local brands and programs alike. He has always been a passionate media personality preferring to be part of the team behind the scenes. Radio is a good way to be outspoken and help bring life to Radio Shows were possible. Each day, each Show is a challenge he is willing to take head on and bring quality to the station.
